These light stained oak cabinets got a new off white paint finish. The double wall cabinet above the micro wave was raised for added interest. New crown molding was installed along with new trim and bead boarded side panels around the peninsula. Light rail were also milled and installed to hide the new under cabinet lights. The original granite counter top looked horrible with the old stained cabinets but it was kept in place because it worked perfectly with the new cabinet finish and new backsplash!
